Unexpected gem in Ilfracombe
The warm hospitality from Terence and Piper instantly made us feel at home. The breakfast was a lavish affair, uniquely presented with a variety of options. We thoroughly enjoyed the charming garden areas for a peaceful retreat. Plus, the personalized touches in our room were delightful.
Although our stay was memorable, we did experience a limited selection of evening dining options nearby, which required a bit of planning on our part to find suitable places.

i had such high hopes for this place, especially with no real complaints from others. well, i found it shocking that breakfast choices were limited, and the walk to the center woudl ve been nicer if i got a complimentary shuttle. service? barely gave me any attention. i almost considered a good review, but i just couldn’t.

Exceptional breakfast presentation was a true highlight.
We faced limited parking options, making arrivals difficult. The size of our double room's bathroom felt cramped and was not user-friendly. the mattress was too firm for our liking, leading to restless nights.

The breakfast presentation was absolutely lavish, truly setting the tone for a delightful morning.
We did encounter a slight inconvenience as our room lacked an extra set of towels initially, which we had to request upon check-in.

I stayed in the Deluxe Double Room, and it was amazing! The decor was stunning, with a keen eye for detail. The bed was super comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep. Plus, having an espresso machine in the room was such a nice touch. Loved the view and the fun hot tub outside, but I wish I could've enjoyed the sauna too. definitely one of the best places I've visited!

The unique home cinema is a standout feature, providing a fun and cozy way to unwind in the evenings. The gardens are beautifully kept, offering a peaceful retreat right on the property.
Parking can be a hassle due to limited on-site spaces, which could be inconvenient during busy times. There were also some minor maintenance issues like low water pressure in the showers and issues with inconsistent shower water temperature. The lack of evening dining options is something to consider, as venturing out for food might not be optimal for those wanting convenience. Wi-Fi speeds could fluctuate, especially when the place is crowded, and the shower cubicles are a bit on the small side, which may not suit everyone.
